I would like to say a huge thank you to Dr. Nawaid Ahmed. I was suffering from an ACL injury, meniscus tear and a painful knee joint last year for which I needed surgery. Having shifted to Mumbai since long, my 1st preference was to have the surgery done at Mumbai but the logistics just wouldn’t pan out. It would have been a hassle for my family (based out of Wardha) to move to Mumbai for a couple of months. It was with some apprehensions that I visited the hospital when I reached Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha. My mother Dr. Mrs. Hariharan (Head of department, obstetrics and gynecology) accompanied me to the Orthopedics department and I was introduced to Dr. Nawaid. I have always been an intuitive person and my very first impression after having spoken to him was that, ‘I am in safe and capable hands’. At that time I was in Shahdol (Chhattisgarh) and I was not able to walk properly just because of that problem and moved to many doctors but couldn’t get relief from my pain.
